The One Egg Project
The One Egg Project transforms child nutrition by providing vulnerable mothers and children with a daily high-quality protein egg during the critical first 1,000 days of life. Evidence highlights profound long-term impacts on growth, cognition and health. Donors fund egg barns and daily eggs to break malnutrition cycles and build resilient communities.
The model constructs local barns via partnerships and innovative funding for sustainability, supporting families for three years with one egg per person daily to fill dietary gaps.
In 2026, One Egg plans 10 Egg Barns—each with a functional hen house, layer hens, feed, and medications. Support this direct, sustainable nutrition mission to equip the next generation for lifelong health, success, and resilience.
